It's not urgent. [he says with a shrug.] I'll find somewhere.

[he breathes out slightly, leaning back against poe.]

You wanna stay here a bit longer or get goin'?

It's no trouble, Arch. Barely out of my way. Not like they're getting use anyway.

[ He sighed, staring out at the sea, wondering which planet it resembled the most. None he'd ever called home, anyway. An alien shoreline and an alien world that he kept not quite adjusting to. ]

... Let's get going.

Aye, cheaper too.

[he gives poe another squeeze, then gets up.]

It's one of them country hotels on the outskirts of the city. You wanna follow me on Crobat?

[ Poe nodded, before leaning over and giving Archie a squeeze around the shoulders and then pulling himself upright. He grabbed his carpet and rolled out out again. ]

Yeah. We'll be right behind you.

[he nods, with an appreciative grunt at the clap on the shoulders. crobat gives poe one last lick for the road, then shifts to let archie hop on. it's easy to make a call up in the air-- and to also force himself to not feel bad about lying. it's just-- easier, not to bring all that into it, right? arceus if archie knows, but he powers on anyway.

it doesn't take long to get there, all told. they fly quickly (probably a real weird sight, though at least poe's preferred flying object is a carpet instead of, like, a broom? or a-- shipping container? wait, does he need to be able to physically lift the stuff?

all mysteries that will never be answered, because archie will never ask. he hops off crobat when it lands, giving it a thank you pat before recalling the giant bat back into its ball. poe isn't far behind-- he'll just wait.]

[ He is, in fact, very close behind - he'd given Crobat some space while they were flying, but caught up very quickly for the landing. BB-8 rolled off first, wandering up to Archie with a mostly-cheerful but somewhat-forlorn series of beeps, as Poe rolled up the carpet and then walked over with it under his arm. ]

[archie doesn't know what bb is saying, but he's lived with pokémon long enough to know when those beeps aren't indicative of happiness!!! he crouches down to give bb a pat on his main ball, by his head like he's patting a human on the shoulder. he's not really sure what the etiquette is here? he stays crouched by the little droid for a few seconds longer than necessary.]

Don't sweat it. I know you'd help me out too.

[he... assumes. should he assume that? yes, no, stop being stupid, archie. he stands up and gestures poe to follow him to the door.]
