[He wasn’t looking to get Darin in trouble after all. He’s just decided Aegis wasn’t for him.]
Not right now. I think I need to re-evaluate, and focus on my Pokémon more. Especially Charizard since he’s not been the same ever since what happened with Guzma.
But I would rather not put him in that situation to start with.
[He can control Charizard with his dragon mind control, but Lance’s ability with that power if hardly perfect. It takes a lot of concentration and any slip could potentially cause a loss of that control. Plus his own feelings play a part in it. If he got angry with Guzma, it could cause his dragons to attack even if not specifically told to.]
It's... hard to tell with a lot of people here. I wouldn't say it's just Aegis, though, a lot of people don't get it. When I first showed up and even sometimes now people like to act as though they know more about the Pokémon.
[he grunts irritably.]
You dunno how many times I was told I was abusin' my family for battlin' with them. Still sore about it.
That's true, but I feel Aegis only views our Pokemon as weapons.
I can't blame you for that. They view Pokemon on the same level as their animals here, and they can't be compared. There are people in this world who consider pets, like Nikolai's dog, to be enslaved from what I've heard. So a view like that on Pokemon doesn't surprise me.
No. He seems to have realised that staying on the down-low after shooting me is the best option, but I'm doing what I can to monitor him without drawing attention.
[it goes without saying he doesn't trust any members of team rocket, let alone an executive.]
Re: Voice
[he doesn't want to dig directly, feels like it's likely not his business, but:] You doin' okay?
Voice
[His voice goes quite a bit hard though.]
I'll be fine.
[Yes, he's closing himself off. Which means he's not fine, but he's not one to dump things on people.]
Re: Voice
[he doesn't know you well, lance, but he can recognise that tone.]
Voice
[And really it doesn’t. Lance will cool down eventually and just move on. Though Darin is no longer on his good side.]
Re: Voice
Voice
[And admitting that does cool him down a little.]
It was on the public network if you're that curious.
Re: Voice
[he trails off as he goes to check.]
Re: Voice
[You would think it would be easier to resign than to join.]

Re: Voice
Do you think you'll join another team? There are a couple imPort ones...

Re: Voice
Of course. How are they doing?
Voice
Charizard has become extremely over protective of me and I think he might try to kill Guzma if he gets the chance.
Re: Voice
[he looks down at the burns on his arm as he says that.]
Let me know if you want to let 'em hang out with mine.

Personal feelings aside, I also don’t believe anyone in Aegis really understands the value of our Pokémon.

Re: Voice
[it hurts him to open it up - still feeling grief over blue and red - but he sends lance the file.]
Voice
[Lance doesn't reply back for several minutes as he reviews the file. Eventually he does though.]
Aside from Nikolai's part at the end, that's actually very impressive. I'll be using it from this point on.
Re: Voice
Voice
[He can’t not agree there.]
Speaking of which, has there been anything from Archer lately?
