[he makes a soft oh, quiet for a beat after the light has vanished. he stares at his arm and cautiously wiggles his fingers, half-expecting them to hurt, but...it's not so much a hurt as the kind of stiff ache one might get from sleeping with them curled up oddly. that's better than he expected.
bad people doing things to hurt them...like the riots? the people angry about them being here.
Martin hangs onto that one, but keeps those dark worries to himself. he lets himself get yanked up, steadying on his feet, feeling a bit leaden in the legs. he's been running on all cylinders all night, and exhaustion is getting to him.
he gently puts the back of his hand on Mightyena's head -- as much a pet as he can get away with and still avoid worrying of making him ill.]
