[true to his word, archie on crobat and arrives about twenty minutes after she tells him. he hops off the giant bat - who's mildly confused and irritated/worried at the sudden turn in archie's emotions - looking around for angie.]

well the guy was a bit of a dick

[She'd gone back in to grab something for Crobat after Archie said he'd come for her. She walks out and smiles at the pokemon walking up to it and offers the fruit up.
Looks at Archie and offers a tired smile. Pretty obvious she's been crying.]

Thanks. It means a lot you'd come get me.

[crobat daintily takes the fruit out her hand, licking it up with a thankful grunt.]

I was worried. Sorry I... uh, called so much. You wanna get on Cro first?

I didn't mean to make you worry, promise. I just had to see what he said.

[She strokes Crobat and then climbs on.]

I know, I know. I'm just glad you're okay.

[because honestly? he wouldn't have put it past that guy to hit her, as much as he detests the thought. (even if he's sure she could probably break his arms before he even thought about it.)]

You okay if he flies you back first? It'll be quicker.

[That's what some of the worry had been. That he had agreed to meet but was really doing it to shut her up in some way. She nods to him.]

[he laughs, then pats crobat.]

If she makes another comment like that, Cro, you eat her, alright?

[crobat grunts, not finding it as funny.]

He wouldn't do that, I'm sure he'd agree, yo'd be the straw that broke the camels back.

[She leans on Crobat more and gives a light squeeze for a hug.]

Besides, he's to nice to do something like that.

[She has...so much to tell him.

[it's a quick flight back and inside ten minutes crobat has brought archie back too. it grunts, hopping around the back of the house to find a tree to Roost in. archie jogs up the porch steps and fiddles with the door.]

Good ta see he didn't drop you...

With how high we went, I'm glad.

[She waves to Crobat and then sighs.]

Thanks again, seriously. I think if I just went home I'd just stare at the wall.

[he puts a hand on her shoulder briefly, then opens the door.]

[She smiles at his hand. Entering the house when the doors open. She lifts the bags she has and turns to Archie.]

Civilised with bowls or straight from the tub with spoons?

I..want to talk about what happened tonight. It's crazy.

[said with a laugh. he directs her to the living room -- open to the kitchen.]

You want a drink or anythin' before we get into that?

[She thinks for a moment as she walk towards the living room to put the bags down. Tonight had been hard, so she smiles again with a nod. ]

[archie makes a drink he knows she likes and as if on cue, mightyena comes bounding down the stairs, jumping up next to her with a boof. its tail thumbs against the couch cushions and it licks at her.

placing the mug on the coffee table i decided it there just now, archie sits on her other side.]

[She hears mightyena and braces herself for the locks and attention. She rubs behind his ears and ruffles at his fur. Totally fussing because what a good pup. She keeps petting mightyena and sighs.]

Nothing. We talked, I messed up and he closed up.

Do you...Remember me talking about Overwatch? Turns out that he- [She goes quiet because there's a lump in her throat that she has to swallow back down.]

He was my Commander.

He doesn't seem like the type of person who should be in charge of anything.

He never used to be like this. He was a great Commander. He's been through so much and it's changed him. Not for the best either.

What happened to him?

I think pretty much everything did.

Blame was thrown around every where, at us. Our team fell apart, the organisation just...it was horrible. Then there was the explosion. I think most of the man I knew died that day. I thought he was gone for good.

I don't even know what's going to happen now.
