It's... a real bad thing people do intentionally or accidentally. When you say something that has happened hasn't. It can really damage the person on the receiving end. I mean, I'm not sayin' you're a bad person for it, I just mean... it's a dangerous thing.

The way you can make this better is that now you know you're doing it, move on and tell him what you think he should know. Without lying or denying anything.
